The Canterbury Bun is inspired by the travelling candleholders used by early Pilgrims. The candles, sockets & dishes all pack neatly within the two bowls. Quickly & easily assembled to make a matched pair of candleholders, the lid (unlabelled) unscrews from the base (labelled) to reveal the fittings. When closed the Canterbury Bun protects the contents & will pack comfortably with no sharp edges to damage other travelling kit. Completely handmade in a range of beautiful woods with stainless steel or black anodised aluminium fittings. This Canterbury Bun is made from plain Elm. Imagine a Constable painting without the majestic Elm trees, there is a sorrow that these trees are now gone. Candle holder diameter 14cm/5 1/2, closed Canterbury Bun approx 5.6cm/ 2 1/4 high.
